Random LocationThis service pulls data from Wikipedia and Unesco, giving you the option to choose and compare an acknowledged source in Unesco and a publicly controlled source in Wikipedia. As those organisations are themselves fairly reliable sources nowadays, you can expect the information found on HTD to be accurate.
The website allows you to more easily plan your time along with friends or loved ones, while also enabling you to make sure that you can appreciate the site you choose to visit with up to date information. While visiting historic sites is a do-alone-matter for some people it is for many others a social experience and HTD strives to encourage and ease doing so for anyone who wishes to learn more about said sites, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.
HTD strives towards providing an educational platform and in order to do so the provided data is massaged and presented to be as approachable as possible. With the knowledge that lengthy texts and difficult formatting may discourage many from accessing the information, HTD tries to make the information easy to read and even provides the option to have the texts read aloud using software that is built into most modern browsers.
